TSP Licensing
With TSP Licensing you have the opportunity to purchase any McAfee component or McAfee product suite. TSP licensing is available for upwards of 11 nodes and is based on bands of quantities. McAfee uses the term “node” (= network node) for this in order to indicate the sum total of intelligent devices (workstations, servers, mail or other gateways) that you are operating. Pricing is in relation to the sum total of these nodes with larger discounts for higher order volumes.
Multinode License Packs
Multinode License Packs are pre-configured with perpetual licenses for 5, 10 and 25 users. There are fixed prices for the multinode license packs in relation to the sum total of network nodes. The package consists of a CD, manuals, the license agreement, media exchange card, registration card and support form.
Customers are required to complete and return the registration card to the address shown. After sending this card, they receive a registration number (also referred to as a grant number) from McAfee that allows them to access the support purchased.
Re-orders
In order to make the purchase of security products for growing companies as simple and cost-effective as possible, the McAfee Perpetual Plus Licensing Program allows its customers to purchase additional licenses
at the original or best price ranking in their purchasing history. The re-ordering policy gives customers the possibility in this way of making future purchases of all McAfee products on the basis of the original or first price ranking used for a minimum of 5 nodes. All they have to do when re-ordering is quote the grant number of the original order.
Price levels
Price levels are calculated on the basis of the total sum of intelligent devices (or nodes = network nodes) that are used in a company.
Licensing and Prime Support - Perpetual License
A Perpetual License gives you the right of use to a specific software package that is to be utilised by a specific number of users (nodes) for an unlimited period of time.
