Citrix Tier model for Service Providers
Last year, Citrix started a thorough analysis of their Citrix Service Provider (CSP) program. They found that partner differentiation is of the utmost importance for the further development of their CSP program and partners. With the rapid growth of the CSP partner ecosystem, the transition to tier-based benefits is a natural evolution. The new Member, Preferred and Premier CSP tiers, from low to high, are defined on the basis of various conditions, including certification, monthly income and compliance.
Benefits for partners
- Clear growth definition - CSP partners have a clear path for what they need to do to reach the next level, with exclusive benefits. For example, if you meet the Premier level requirements, you get additional marketing resources, discounts, free participation in the annual conference: Citrix Summit, and more.
- Market differentiation - The program structure allows partners to show current and future customers a certain level of credibility, experience and expertise. In a rapidly changing market with increasing competition, partner differentiation is the key to success.
- Better Business Alignment - The new program structure allows us to better address the unique needs of each partner and the value they bring to Citrix. Partners have different technical, sales and marketing support needs, which are now handled on the basis of membership levels. Although the CSP program already consists of different types of partners, the layered benefits allow for a better alignment of business planning and partners' expectations.
