Insight acquires the Microsoft Licensing Business from Systemat
Grimbergen, 19 April 2017 – Trusted IT advisor Insight (BeLux) acquires the Microsoft Licensing Business from Systemat, a global provider of IT services. The agreement enables Insight to further grow its licensing business in Wallonia and Luxemburg while offering Systemat’s customers the best possible advice and services for software licensing contracts.
Insight: “Even better service for customers and expanding our footprint”
Besides taking over 130 business and government customers, representing a yearly turnover of about 6 million euros, Insight will also integrate three experts from Systemat into its operations. One of them will continue to work from Luxemburg, the two remaining will move to the offices of Insight in Brussels (Grimbergen). In other words, the acquisition will also bring more know-how and experience to the company as licensing specialists are really hard to find on the job market.
Country Manager Marie del Marmol from Insight Belux reassures the continuity for existing customers: “We welcome our new customers and employees. The acquisition is a win-win-situation for all parties. Previous clients of Systemat will get an even better service as our company has developed a real expertise in licensing business. Insight BeLux expands its footprint both in terms of revenue and geographically.”
