VMWare at AWS - New VMC MSP Commit Contract Tiers - 1 September 2020
VMware is gradually moving to a tariff card model to streamline SaaS pricing and packages, which will eventually include single spend commit allowing access to multiple services.
- As a first step in MSP alignment on this model, VMware will enable the new VMC on AWS MSP commits and discounts prior to implementation of the full rate card model.
- What's changing:
- Provides a consistent discount framework for both new MSPs and people with an existing VMware-licensed rental business ("R" contracts) who wish to purchase VMC via MSP.
- Changes some spend commit tiers and respective discount levels
- Introduces a new entry level of $0, where MSPs can purchase VMC with an initial discount and without an obligation to spend.
