VMware vCloud Availability is a self-service or managed disaster recovery service offering (DRaaS) seamlessly integrated with VMware Cloud Director. The solution provides disaster recovery replication from on-premise to Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud with free migration.
VMware Cloud Provider partners that run vCloud Availability (any version) and launch new Disaster Recovery replications in the months of May, June and July 2020, do not need to report usage for new replications only. You still need to report the volume of existing replications that existed immediately before the start of the offer in the reporting months of June, July and August, but this will be a fixed number.
This 3 month offer expires at the end of July 2020. As of August Cloud Providers will have to report all vCloud Availability Disaster Recovery replicants in their environment as normal.
